This project was divided into two phases, the first phase was designing a piece of furniture with specific requirements. While designing the furniture, the student had to think about producing a new and unique design, which improves the natural human interactions either in the working or learning space. Also, considering the economical, environmental, and social needs of the people and space while working. The health and wellbeing of the worker are important to be considered as well.

Moreover, the product must last for a long period of time, redeveloped if broken down, recycled, and reused. Its appearance is significant by considering its feeling, looking, and physical requirements. Finally, the student had to think about the materials used and the product must be used from 2 to 6 utilisers.

The second phase was redesigning the library of our university Cardiff Metropolitan University, by using the product we designed throughout the part of the library building. This stage of the project helped me to design for the first time an existing host building that I was constantly visiting, and that helped me thinking creatively.
