The Alphabet Footage

This was my very initial project at Cardiff Metropolitan University in the International Foundation Year. During the graphic design 4 weeks workshop, we had four projects to work on. The brief of the First project was walking outdoors or even indoors in any place and taking pictures of either organic or man-made alphabetic shapes. This project helped me improve my technical skills.  I had a quite good background in using Photoshop software, but I learned many new beneficial skills too. This project was very fun and energetic, as I went around the buildings and green places searching for anything that shaped like letters. I produced Organic and Man-made letters from real life.

The second phase of this workshop was choosing some letters that we photographed and trace, to use them in a useful sentence. In the third phase, we were given a book that included in it many different fonts of the alphabet, and we were asked to trace the most interesting letters to add to a small booklet that we also created about a story called "The Russian Revolution". Finally, we produced a very small sized teaser about any movie we choose, as well as, editing every single detail on that teaser by ourselves which was quite interesting and new to me.
